Quem Somos na Jornada com Diabetes

Olá, seja bem-vindo ao Jornada com Diabetes! Meu nome é Matheus Chaluppe, tenho 28 anos e convivo com Diabetes Mellitus Tipo 1 desde 2006. Minha experiência com a condição me motivou a buscar conhecimento e ajudar outras pessoas na mesma jornada.

Atualmente, sou acadêmico de Medicina em São Paulo e conselheiro da ADJ – Diabetes Brasil, onde atuo na defesa dos direitos e na educação sobre diabetes. Além disso, estou concluindo meu projeto na Federação Internacional de Diabetes (IDF) pelo programa Young Leader in Diabetes, uma iniciativa global para fortalecer a liderança de jovens na causa.

Este blog nasceu do desejo de compartilhar vivências, informações e dicas para tornar a vida com diabetes mais leve e consciente. Aqui, você encontrará relatos, orientações e um espaço de troca e apoio. Espero que este seja um lugar inspirador para todos que convivem com o diabetes, direta ou indiretamente.

Hello, and welcome to Journey with Diabetes! My name is Matheus Chaluppe, I am 28 years old, and I have been living with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus since 2006. My experience with this condition has motivated me to seek knowledge and help others on the same journey.

Currently, I am a medical student in São Paulo and a counselor at ADJ – Diabetes Brasil, where I work to advocate for rights and educate people about diabetes. Additionally, I am completing my project with the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) through the Young Leader in Diabetes program, a global initiative to strengthen youth leadership in diabetes advocacy.

This blog was born from my desire to share experiences, knowledge, and tips to make life with diabetes lighter and more informed. Here, you will find personal stories, guidance, and a space for support and discussion. I hope this will be an inspiring place for everyone who lives with diabetes, directly or indirectly.
